What it does
Automatic discount sync
Your Shopify automatic discounts are mirrored onto the products they apply to, driven by webhooks. Create or edit a discount in Shopify and the storefront follows.
Discount badges
Percentage, fixed-amount and Buy X Get Y discounts render as badges on product images and cards. Colours, text and placement are styled in your theme editor.
Strikethrough pricing
The original price is shown struck through beside the discounted price, and updates as the shopper switches variant.
New & Sale badges
Optional merchandising badges for recently added products and for products with a compare-at price, configured entirely in the theme editor.
Variant-level targeting
Discounts that apply to specific variants badge only those variants, so the price a shopper sees matches the one checkout will charge.
Search-engine accurate pricing
Structured product data is patched per variant, so Search results and Google Shopping see the discounted price rather than the full one.
Getting started
- Install the app on your store from the Shopify App Store.
- Enable the Discount Badges app embed in your theme — the app deep-links you straight to it.
- Keep creating automatic discounts in Shopify as you always have. Badges and prices appear on their own.
No theme code changes. Rendering is handled by a Shopify theme app extension, so nothing is written into your theme files and removing the app leaves no leftover code behind.
